The Current Affairs Group meets fortnightly to discuss news, and the many areas of concern affecting our lives and the world around us.

We aim to develop our understanding by sharing each other’s insights and experience, and to have a pleasant couple of hours of lively interaction.

Occasionally a meeting will be set aside for those who would like to offer a more in depth presentation on a topic of their choice, or one selected by the group.

The meetings are as serious or light as we wish them to be. But we hope that all will take what they want or need from the meetings, and that everyone’s view will be respected.
