As ever, the world, and we as individuals within it,
faces problems. Some geo-political on a grand
scale. Others, such as the rising price of houses in
relation to earnings, are of more immediate
importance, at least to our families. Underlying
these and many other problems are the interplay
of philosophical, technological, sociological and
economic forces.
The group will discuss one subject per session and
attempt to tease out the underlying causes and
possible answers. We will NOT be discussing day to
day party political trivia. The group discussion will be based around a good natured interchange of
ideas. The aim is to learn from others and
understand, not win arguments.
